A clean Namibia ,A Healthy Namibia

 According to the city of Windhoek all hands were on the deck at the Major clean up campaign held on Saturday in the Moses-Garoab constituency.The campaign aims to get the community directly involved in cleaning their surroundings and ensuring that they are free from littering and pollution speaking at the occasion,Windhoek Major Cllr.Sade Gawanas expressed how she felt about the community and stakeholders who took part in the campaign and support the city’s initiative and efforts geared towards reclaiming Windhoek’s cleanest city in Africa .

The council in partnership with different stakeholders is determined to make sure that Namibia capital returns to its former cleanest Country .Major Gawanas emphasize the collective approach to the cleaning environment, pointing out that the responsibility to maintain cleanliness should start at home ,”Charity begins at home “.Managing Director of shoprite Namibia Paul Malan also took part in the campaign and stated that “while its great to do business in Windhoek “it should remain a collective responsibility to keep it clean .Malan pledge shoprite continuous support for the clean initiative.The campaign is sponsored by different stakeholders such as Shoprite Namibia,Rent-a-Drum ,Plastic Packaging ,Development workshops,Namibia Recycling forum ,Khomas regional council ,as well as learners from the schools in the Moses Garoab Constituency.
